Purplemoon was created to facilitate positive connections between people - we want to be exceptionally friendly, honest and trustworthy, because these values also matter to us personally.

Nowadays these values cannot be taken for granted anymore, especially on the internet they are often absent. Some companies also seem to be too big or successful to still focus on their users.

We strive to be different - by focusing on you, so you can feel comfortable, get to know nice people and avoid any bad experiences. If you want you can also help in some areas to further improve and form our community.

The company Panaxis GmbH who runs Purplemoon consists of a really small team - currently one person is employed and about 7-8 other people help in their spare time. That also shows how personal Purplemoon is to us.

Currently there are no (group) pictures or other detailed descriptions of our team. Mainly we just do not want to direct so much attention to us, another reason is the lack of time/opportunity until now and we also just rather focus on the rest (and the further development) of Purplemoon. But maybe we will manage to compile some more information about us in the future.

Yet that does not mean we are inapprochable - quite the opposite, we are in contact with a lot of users, also chat on Purplemoon ourselves and it is really easy to get in contact with us. We put a lot of effort in replying to each request as individually and personally as we can.

If you like Purplemoon and wish to help us we would be thrilled to get your support, because we can really use it. The first thing you can do is tell all your friends about us, because unfortunately we cannot afford a lot of advertising.

Funding (and continuing to develop) a website like this one is not that easy when it comes to finances - if you want to help us in that respect you can become a Power-User and get some interesting features in exchange for a small monthly charge. We also offer exciting advertising possibilities, if you or somebody you know happens to be interested.

Because trust and honesty are so important to us we try to encourage our users to verify their identity. By doing so you confirm your identity with us and other users can be sure you are real and your age is also correct. In exchange you get some additional features and can help us check pictures and forum posts (only if you want to).

For people who are interested in how Purplemoon works internally: all components of the website are programmed in PHP, as database we use MySQL. Currently there are 4 servers in use, 2 web servers and 2 database servers. The servers are located in the city of Bern, Switzerland.
